N’Golo Kante says Chelsea are ‘well placed’ for Premier League title push

N’Golo Kante believes Chelsea are ‘well placed’ to challenge for the Premier League title under Frank Lampard. Chelsea have registered 15 points from their opening eight games and currently sit fifth in the Premier League. Lampard has received strong backing from Chelsea’s hierarchy this year with the signings of Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, Ben Chilwell, Thiago Silva and Edouard Mendy. And Kante, who won the Premier League title in his first season at Chelsea in 2017, has backed the new additions to help another push for top spot. The World Cup winner says he is also keen to secure a place in next season’s Champions League as quickly as possible. ‘The team has changed in recent years, the coach has been here for a year working together,’ Kante told TF1. see here
